The role

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team as a Night Veterinary Nurse at our well equipped, busy 24 hour hospital based in Watford, Hertfordshire.

 This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing skills in medical and surgical nursing, working alongside a veterinary surgeon, and another experienced RVN. This is a full time permanent position, the shift pattern will be 7 nights on/7 nights off, working 8pm- 8am.

Skills and experience

You must be a Veterinary Nurse who is registered with the RCVS, however we will consider a SVN who is due to qualify soon.

Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. Experience of working night shifts is desirable.

Medivet Watford is a 24 hour hospital and provides a range of services, including X-Rays, ECG, Endoscopy, MRI scanning, CT scanning and advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. 

The practice is located on a busy high street, with close access to Watford Junction train station.
