The role
Medivet Wimborne are currently seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse.
Our lovely Wimborne clinic has been just undergone a refurbishment and we are very excited to be re opening. We are looking for an experienced RVN who wants to progress into the next step of their career and this would be an ideal opportunity as you would join a small team in a new practice so you can put your own stamp on it. You will be involved in all aspects of nursing, which includes sharing best practice with your team and helping to support and develop student veterinary nurses.
The role offers a salary of £33, 897.50 dependent on experience, generous CPD allowance and in-house CPD available, ongoing training is provided as relevant to your role, RCVS and VDS fees paid, 25 days paid annual leave, exclusive company discounts and rewards.
We can offer this as a 3 day part time role to begin with and wold look to move to a full time role within 3 months.

Branch
Medivet Wimborne has bee part of the local community for may many years and is located in the heart of Wimborne.
The branch has 2 consulting rooms which allows nurse clinics, x-ray facilities and access Ultrasound, Endoscopy, ECG. The branch is also supported by our 24 hour hospital in Poole to continue the exceptional care for your clients and patients during out of hours.
The successful candidate will be joining an experienced veterinary surgeon, and one PCA. All of our head nurses are provided with dedicated support from our teams within Medivet and the network of regional HRVNS are always happy to help. Here the stress of managing your rota, dealing with recruitment, H&S, marketing (and much more!) is taken care of, and while there are still admin duties involved in your role, this support will allow you to spend more time managing your team and doing what you love, nursing!
