The Role
We are seeking a veterinary nurse to join our small animal practice at Medivet East Oxford either a full or part time basis as covering Head Nurse. The role is a fixed term contract or secondment into the Head Veterinary Nurse role. We will actively support the retention and development of the successful candidate following the placement.
The ideal candidate will be confident within veterinary nurse skills, including nurse consultation, clinical supervisor duties and line management. You will be assured in their communication, comfortable working as part of a wider team as well as the practice team, keen to develop their clinical skill set, and share our core Medivet values of being caring, progressive and trustworthy.
You will be working alongside a network of ten Medivet practices across Oxfordshire, enabling support where required. Training and development will be actively encouraged, supporting the development into management or expanding knowledge and skill within the area. Training will be tailored to the successful candidate.
Salary & Benefits FTE:
Salary package starting from £32,500

The Branch
East Oxford has great equipment including endoscopy, laparoscopic equipment and complex ultrasound. East Oxford is supported by Woodstock 24hr and use our ambulance to support patient transfer to and from the hospital. Located on the Cowley Road, central of the city of Oxford, offering easy access to local amenities and retail. The practice offers staff rest facilities and private parking.
