Veterinary Surgeon
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Medicine Veterinary Surgeon to join our award-winning Hendon 24-Hour Hospital. We're seeking an individual with an advanced medicine/scanning/ECC background solely to work on exclusively ward/inpatients, ultrasounds and daytime emergency care, with a small amount of consulting (likely none in the first year, but we encourage our Ward Vets to be able to see some follow ups to their hospitalised patients and some long term medical cases).

Skills and Experience
We are seeking an individual who already has good amounts of advanced medicine experience (ideally with a certificate) and is a competent ultrasound scanner.
The Branch
Recognised as one of London’s best Vet practices, you will be joining a highly experience team led by Branch Partners Jeremy and Sarah, plus a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse with 15 years experience, 10 other vets, a dedicated Imaging RVN, 5 other RVNs, 4 Student Nurses, 4 Patient Care Assistants and 5 Client Care Assistants!
We are a hospital who day to day have 3/4 Vets consulting, 1 Vet on CT/MRI, 2/3 Vets on ward and 2/3 Vets on surgery. The clinic is run by the two Branch Partners who take referrals from lots of branch clinics as well as having our own OOH night teams.
It houses an MRI/CT unit and so treats many interesting neurology, medicine, surgical and other cases. Additionally, Hendon 24hr is equipped with endoscopy, arthroscopy, digital x-ray, MiLab X7 ultrasound, multi-parameter monitors, in-house bloods, dental radiology and much more! The group is also supported by its own pet blood bank, laboratory as well as other services. Hendon also has a spacious garden, seperate cat and dog wards, two dedicated staff rooms, a close link to the station as well as a friendly and sociable team who enjoy their team nights out.
It supports Medivet clinics in all of Northwest London but also the whole of Southern England, with interesting and complicated cases.
