Veterinary Surgeon
The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Veterinary Surgeon to join our 9 vet team in Medivet Chorley (Hillcrest Hospital).
Working alongside experienced vets, you would be fully supported in your role and part of a team committed to providing excellent client and patient care. Our practice has a friendly client base who appreciate the personal service we provide.
This role would suit an experienced Veterinary Surgeon or a newer grad looking for the support needed to further their career. The role will function in an environment where colleagues support each other by sharing skills and knowledge, to give our patients the best outcomes. The successful candidate will have great communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop surgical skills.
This role is 4 days a week with either 1:3 Saturday or Sunday shifts or a 1:6 full weekend.
Salary & Benefits
Salary up to £65,000 dependent on experience
£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave
VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
22 days annual leave, extra day off for 100% attendance, enhanced maternity package and paid day off for your childs first day at school. Paid sabbaticals as part of long term service.

We are fully equipped to carry out medical workups and surgical procedures and you would be fully supported by our team of vets and nurses including our experienced Branch Partner Chris.
Equipment at the branch includes: ECG/X-Ray/Ultrasound/Operating theatres, full onsite lab.
