The role
Joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.
Key accountabilities
As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively, building trusting relationships with your colleagues, harnessing our one team culture. You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.
Skills and experience
Working at Acton is all about teamwork and community: while competence in routine surgery is desirable, we would also consider a consult only role for a strong communicator who gets their job satisfaction from client interactions.

We’re a cat-heavy clinic so an interest in feline medicine would be easy to cultivate here.
Our proximity to the Richmond 24 hr hospital means that we can offer high quality overnight care, OOH provision, CT scanning and advanced surgical and diagnostic procedures to our clients, whilst remaining in close contact and retaining clinical oversight.
