Veterinary Surgeon
About us
We are looking for a well rounded Veterinary Surgeon to join our large team in our Leominster branch.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside 5 other experienced vets and a team of 9 nurses and 8 reception/admin staff.
Although we would ideally be looking for a full time candidate, we can also offer flexibility with this role and are open to candidates who want to work part-time for the right fit. This role does include being involved in a fair share of the on call rota, and a Saturday on a 1 in 6 basis.
The ideal role would be a 4 day week giving you excellent work/life balance with 1:6 full weekends including on call commitments.
Our nurses take the OOH phones and senior vets provide full back up to the on call vets, together with an on call nurse.
We are a busy, friendly practice with a varied caseload and all vets are actively encouraged to pursue their chosen area of interest with clinical freedom.
The candidate ideally would be an experienced vet, however recent graduates or new graduates are encouraged to apply. We are extremely supportive of any vets who also want to complete certificates to develop their own clinical expertise.
