The role

We are seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse to join our practice at Medivet Carpenders Park

This role could lend itself to someone with clinical leadership experience or a RVN looking for their first Head Nurse role!

Joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

As well as your day to day duties within practice caring for your patients and clients, you will have the drive and ambition to develop the practice optimising the client and patient experience, promoting safety while training, developing and leading the entire nursing team.  You will support the branch partner with account management, and a variation of administrative tasks to ensure the practice runs efficiently and effectively. You’ll also be proactive in maintaining your own professional and clinical skills, carry out accurate and timely reporting and explore ways that we can further develop our standards.

Key accountabilities

Salary and hours:

– Salary £32,500 per annum

– £750 CPD allowance with 2-days CPD leave

– RCVS, VDS and BVNA membership fees paid

The clinic is easily accessible with excellent transport links – free street parking is also available in our local area.

We feed into our award winning Hendon 24 Hour hospital where the exceptional care for our patients is continued out-of-hours, we also have access to advanced equipment such as Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Arthroscopy, CT and MRI.
